About the Event
Ayurveda is a system of holistic medicine dating back 5,000-plus years. Through the wisdom of Ayurveda we learn how to live in harmony with nature and the natural rhythms of life. Each season of the year brings its own challenges. Yet, when we honor each season by adapting our diet and lifestyle, we are able to achieve balance and health all year round. Spring is an important time of year to shed what no longer serves us. Releasing the heaviness and accumulation from Winter to lighter nourishment will promote our bodies' natural ability to detoxify. Incorporating Spring Ayurvedic rituals will ensure the rainy and cool weather doesn't bog us down with seasonal allergies and stagnation. Lauren Shihadeh, Ayurvedic Wellness Coach and owner of Monarch Ayurveda, will share Ayurvedic practices and remedies that will allow you to embrace Spring with energy and enthusiasm!
